About JFA Ministry
Where we started
This great adventure began in 2013 when my spiritual father encouraged me to launch a ministry to allow me to serve the body of Christ outside of the 4 walls of the church. Jesus For All Evangelistic Ministry was launched on March 3, 2013 in a sending off event with prayer and blessing from pastors and friends in the DMV region. Our first action was to make beef hot dogs for the homeless. With my children and nephews we went on the streets of downtown Washington DC to give the little that we had.
We soon started cooking and serving food at local homeless shelters. We then started organizing Prayer Breakfasts to preach the gospel and meeting Christians who need help growing in their relationship with Jesus. The initial idea was to give them the new believer teachings and then help them find a church home. But the Holy Spirit had different plans.
We believe that Christianity is a life of unconditional love, great power, and total freedom. All who follow Christ can experience this life in Him.
Our Mission
The mission of Jesus for All Evangelistic Ministry is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you. Every disciples must make disciples who make disciples.
Our Vision
The vision of Jesus for All Evangelistic Ministry is to create a community of disciples on fire and to witness cities being transformed by the life-changing message of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and savior and follow Him.
Expanding the Vision
In 2015, the Lord sent me to my first mission trip. It was in Guatemala. It was the most amazing experience for me to preach to a very large crowd and bring so many people to repentance and receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I returned from there with renewed confidence in preaching the gospel. In the prayer breakfast that followed, a sister from Guatemala came. I prayed with her and the Lord gave me a word for her, in Spanish. His presence was real. The sister spoke about me to her sister, and her sister - that I had never met or spoken to - talked about me to her best friend. When the best friend called me, the Lord was triggering a new thing: discipleship of women.
Out in the Horizon
Making women disciples on fire for Jesus has become the pillar of JFA Ministry while the other activities are still happening. We have expanded during the pandemic to disciple women all over the world, in English, in French, and a few women in Spanish. The Lord has also started us with sponsoring an orphanage in the DR Congo in Africa. That's another amazing story that you can read in our blog. The stretch continues as we take disciples to the next level: growing them to leadership where they will make disciples and lead them to make disciples (apprenticeship).
My vision is to win cities for Jesus, but I cannot do it alone. Jesus planned that we must multiply in order to win cities. The more believers grow to fall in love with Jesus and be on fire for the gospel, the more cities we will win. Together.
